Reject Microsoft, Looking for News Corp
After reject the Microsoft offer on my last post, Yahoo, Inc. the giant web portal looking for News Corp which owned by Rupert Murdoch, the rich businessman. Jerry Yang the CEO of Yahoo Inc told that the stock holder must be calm down and let the business taken care by the Yahoo management.
The popular site TechCrunch report that News Corp can be the savior of Yahoo to be bought by Microsoft. News Corp is the global media imperial which owned Dow Jones Journal Publisher and popular online social networking site, MySpace.com, Fox News and 20th Century Fox.
Based on the media report, the meeting centered to the issue of combining MySpace and other Bes Corp Asset with Yahoo. As pay back, News Corp will get 20 percents or more in Yahoo stocks. It can help Yahoo from hostile takeover from Microsoft while keep being independent company.
